Recap of tips and what not to do’s from studio fun.

Materials

• Terrain: corrugated cardboard (3mm)
• Building: 
• diff tone of cardboard
• card stock (colour shouldn't scream)
• doesn't need to be thick cardboard
• Path: 
• same colour of terrain
• 2 methods (see video below)

Drawings to Model

• Print of elevations to scale 
• plan out materials before buying

Massing Models

• represent form 
• materials convey message

When Building

• Walls: always hid joints 
• Windows/Doors
• leave open; NO ACRYLIC OR ACETATE 
• have trims/mullions  
• Trees: 
• use dowels
• have appropriate height and radius 
• diff colour/type then columns 
• may stand at angle
